SRI 2024

The international Conference on Synchrotron Radiation Instrumentation (SRI) is a successful conference series continuing for nearly 40 years, organised by the community of worldwide synchrotron radiation (SR) and X-ray free electron laser (XFEL) facilities. The current conference in 2021 is hosted by Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY) and the European XFEL from August 30 to September 3 in Hamburg, Germany.

The next conference in this triennial series will take place in 2024. Light Source facilities interested in hosting SRI 2024 should mail a Letter of Intent to the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) Chair of the SRI 2021 (via mail: info@sri2021.eu), stating their interests to develop a comprehensive proposal to host the Conference in 2024.

The proposal for SRI 2024 should be submitted to the SRI 2021 LOC Chair before July 31, 2021. The facility representative (typically the Facility Director or his/her designee) of each proposal will make a 10-15 minute presentation of their proposal to the SRI International Advisory Committee (IAC) at the IAC Dinner. The IAC will select the host of SRI 2024.

The winning proposal will be announced at the closing session of the SRI 2021 on Friday, September 3. A 10-min presentation will be given by the host facility to welcome the community to the next Conference.
